We have a great selection of silks and faux silks in our store. They come in a wide variety of solids, stripes, and embroideries and can be used for many home decor projects. If you are thinking about draperies we now have a new lining that woks great with these fabrics. It is a brushed sateen and it is exactly that; brushed on one side and sateen on the other. It gives the silks body and eliminates the need to use an interlining. Did you know that silk is a very strong fiber and can also be used for upholstery? If you decide to use silk on a piece of furniture it should be backed (a process we can provide for most any fabric when needed).
